LPTW member Estelle Parsons will direct “The Last Days of Judas Iscariot” by Stephen Adly Guirgis at La MaMa in the Ellen Stewart Theatre featuring LPTW Member Richarda Abrams (former LPTW Board Member/Networking Committee Co-Chair) and 25 Actors Studio performers.

Set in a criminal court, Judas’ soul hangs in the balance as historic witnesses, including Freud, Mother Teresa and Satan, deliver testimony with raw honesty and scathing humor. The play examines ideas of love, free will and forgiveness, coupled with the notion that evil may not be the presence of hate, but rather the absence of compassion.
