CRITICAL PRAISE

“I wish we could have continued the conversation. I wanted more.” ~ Judith Binus, director, former board member of the League of Professional Theatre Women

“Mari Lyn Henry and the Society for the Preservation of Theatrical History have come up with a genius plan to entertain and educate us. She and her fellow actors each take on an icon from the theatre world and portray them in a biographical sketch about each actressʼs history and career highlights. Bravo!” ~ Peggy Howard Chane, Director/Producer CPC Entertainment

A Stage-Struck Sampler presenting the words of Clara Morris, Alla Nazimova, Katharine Hepburn and Eartha Kitt was presented at the Metropolitan Playhouse on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. LPTW members Mari Lyn Henry, Romy Nordlinger, Paula Ewin and Sandhi Santini are featured in an excerpt from that program with a sample of Q and A in character. Reclaiming the history of forgotten actresses is a significant part of the LPTW Heritage program and the Society for the Preservation of Theatrical History.
