Member Fran Kumin Curated HowlRound Series On Theatre Seasons

Fran Kumin recently curated a week-long series about season planning for HowlRound, the knowledge commons for and by the theatre community, which is available at http://howlround.com.

The series examines the complex process of assembling a theatre season with contributions by Bill Rauch of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Janet Allen of the Indiana Repertory Theatre, Peter Brosius of the Children’s Theatre, Loretta Greco of the Magic Theatre, and Rosalba Rolon of Pregones.  Also included are interviews Fran conducted with Chay Yew of the Victory Gardens Theater and Jim Houghton of the Signature Theatre. Fran hopes that transparency about the season planning process will lead to greater understanding between artists and theater organizations.
