Assistant Professor of Theatre, Shakespeare Focus

The Department of Theatre & Dance at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a tenure-track appointment, Assistant Professor in Theatre, with a primary emphasis in Shakespeare scholarship and/or production, to begin August 2016.
Responsibilities include: teaching two courses (graduate or undergraduate) per semester, implementing certificate and degree programs in Applied Shakespeare, maintaining an active research or creative work agenda, and participating in service at the Department and college level. We seek candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of UCB through their teaching, research/creative work, and service.
Anyone interested in applying will possess effective collaborative skills, substantial achievements as a scholar and/or artist, and a record of success in developing educational or outreach programs. Qualifications: terminal degree (M.F.A. or Ph.D.) and university teaching experience.
