The Players Playwrights Take the Stage: Open Door
Join us for our season finale Staged Reading Event!
AT THE BROKEN PLACES
When are broken relationships worth mending no matter what the cost? And when must they be thrown away because the price of truth is too high? When a desire to heal eventually pits brother against brother and father against son — there is a road out. But is anyone willing to walk that road?
Playwright: Paul Coleman
Director: Nichole Donjé
After extensive consideration of the many wonderful plays submitted the committee chose At the Broken Places by Paul Coleman to be performed in our finale event with special guest Tony, Pulitzer and Oscar winner John Patrick Shanley in attendance. It is one of three plays that will receive personal feedback from two esteemed Players:
Academy Award-winning screenwriter Alex Dinelaris
Two-time Pulitzer Prize Nominee for Drama Gina Gionfriddo
The other selected plays are Paralyzed by Jeff Stolzer and Minuet on Third by Mike Bencivenga.
Please join us on Friday, June 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Dining Room, there will be a cash bar available for guests
