SECOND DATE!!!!! Developed through LPTW’s Julia’s Reading Room, League Member/former Board Member and Networking Cte. Co-Chair, Richarda Abrams explores Mary McLeod Bethune’s personal journey from an uneducated child to a world-renowned educator, humanitarian, civil rights activist, stateswoman and philanthropist. Performer/Playwright Richarda Abrams uses song, storytelling, and humor to transcend time and gender, as Mary returns to earth to share one last lesson. Because LPTW members Jenny Lyn Bader and Richarda Abrams had #OneMoreConversation, Richarda participated in Theatre 167’s WetInk Festival, which led to this premiere of First By Faith: The Life Of Mary McLeod Bethune in The United Solo Theatre Festival. LPTW Rocks!!!!
