A Strong Woman: a ten-minute play festival of five plays presentation. W.A.S.P.s is about four women who flew warplanes for the U.S. during WWII. They battled tremendous societal as well as military prejudice to do an heroic job in a man’s world. In 2010 the W.A.S.P. were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal from Congress in recognition of their WWII flying service.
