The Laguna Playhouse offers a new Director of Development the opportunity to lead the organization into its’ 95th Anniversary Season. A key leadership position, the Director of Development will work with the Board of Trustees, Executive Director, Board Committees and staff to raise contributed revenue of $1.2 million + annually. This position will also develop and implement strategies to assertively expand growth in the fund development programs of the Playhouse. Successful candidates will have experience in a senior fundraising position, demonstrated success in capital campaigns, proven leadership abilities and high consensus building skills. Bachelor Degree required with advanced degree in relevant field a plus. The successful candidate must have least five years of experience in progressively responsible fund raising positions, including direct responsibility for cultivating, soliciting and stewarding gifts of $100,000 or more.
