When a simple celebration brings Shayna Tazler to tears, Abigail seeks to understand her grandmother’s journey to America. When nobody can tell her why Grandma Shayna is in a hospital, Abigail attempts to piece together a puzzle, learning of her grandmother’s survival through Auschwitz, and eventually discovering how she herself a full life after trauma. What other secrets and mysteries lay hidden beneath a pot of chicken soup?
