SFTS PART 2 steps outside the mainstream to offer a more in-depth look at women from different backgrounds, especially Women of Color and Working Women who played an important role in the Movement. Presented with a comprehensive slide show and music from the period, Suffragists From the Stage also integrates “In Her Own Words” selections—excerpts from memoirs, autobiographies, speeches and plays written by these women—which brings the story alive with their powerful voices.
