Seeking short one act play submissions by female playwrights for Andromeda’s Sisters, the second annual fundraiser for The Neo-Political Cowgirls at The John Drew Theater at Guild Hall in East Hampton, New York.
This event is a three part production starting with a moderated panel of organizations serving women and girls, followed by a garden party and culminating in a presentation of 5-6 one act play readings. Last year Cathy Curtin, Blythe Danner, Heather Lind and Liz Larsen were among the actors taking part and the panel was moderated by Cristina Cuomo.
Submission requirements:

*No longer than 20 minutes
* No more than 4 characters
* Should have at its core a message regarding one of the following: human rights, women’s issues, the environment, or LGBT+ / minority issues
* Looking for comedic, dramatic, or poetic pieces
* Playbill bio, credit in all marketing, 2 comp tickets to all three portions of the event, and a small stipend for chosen pieces
