With humor and honesty\, Adina tells the story of how the challenges with her dysfunctional family triggered her depression\, which left her feeling isolated and frightened\, unable to get out of bed for 9 months\, except to go to the doctor. Her journey includes her difficult search for the best treatment and medication\, her struggle to hide her illness from her children\, finding the strength to fight to get well\, and all the people she met along the way. This experience transformed Adina's life for the better and led her down a road of discovery to a new\, more enlightened sense of self. An inspiring story for anyone who struggles with depression or has a friend or family member who struggles with it.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
