See and hear how this young female Jewish songwriter from Baltimore became the manager of a black group of musicians and singers while challenging racism and anti-Semitism. Monica Rodrigues stars as Deborah Chessler. Sonny Til is played by his actual grandson\, De'Sean Dooley. LPTW member Lisa Dennett plays Irene Chessler\, Deborah's mother.
