DESCRIPTION:KILL SWITCH by Jaclyn S. Powell a staged reading: A well-liked\, but self-absorbed and politically ambivalent Manhattan doctor is sucked into the politics of death and money when he uncovers a government conspiracy to control medical care costs by euthanizing the elderly and inform -- and he's unwittingly the heart of the conspiracy.\n\nWednesday\, October 30th\, 2019 6 PM Poets House 10 River Terrace New York\, NY 102 82 Reception to follow.\n\nfeaturing LPTW members Carol Dorn\, director and actor Frances McGarry.\n\nThe NYWIFT New Works Lab affinity group open to writers\, actors and directors. The lab was formed to give the writers helpful critiques for their full length screenplays\, plays\, shorts and web series. Scenes are read during lab meetings. Directors will work with actors and writers to present a more polished reading.
