DESCRIPTION:Monday\, September 14\, 2020\nVirtual Doors Open: 6:30PM\nLaunch: 7PM - 8:30PM\nSocializing (Breakout rooms available): 8:30PM-9:30PM\n\non Zoom\n\n\nJoin us as we launch LPTW's 38th season of programming\, events\, & advocacy together\, virtually!\n\n\nMeet and hear from Pam Elam\, president of Monumental Women\, the nonprofit group that recently unveiled the very first real women’s statue to be placed in Central Park. The Pioneer Women’s Rights monument is in honor of the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment. Pam made her first public speech in support of Women’s Rights when she was 13 years old and has been organizing for women ever since.\n\nAlso meet and get to know from our new Administrator\, Jhanaë Bonnick\, accomplished Broadway Stage Manager. \n\nWe are still continuing with initiatives dedicated to providing visibility and opportunities to women+ working in theatre.\n\nAll current members are encouraged to attend and continue the fight for intersectional gender parity as we finish the very complicated year of 2020-- celebrating the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage-- and move into 2021.\n\nWe look forward to welcoming you as we connect as a community and begin a new season of productive engagement.\n\n\nRSVP to receive Zoom info:\nprograms@theatrewomen.org
