DESCRIPTION:Limited to 50 members!\n\nExpanding the Conversation from  Networking to Connections\n\nNew York Theatre Workshop\nRehearsal Space\, 3rd Floor\n83 East 4th Street\n(Between Bowery & 2nd Ave)\n\nTheatre Connections is a program designed to help our members build bridges and gain insights into active producing organizations that generously collaborate in this project.\n\nLPTW members met with NYTW leadership and learned first-hand about opportunities for working with the organization\, followed by a Q&A session.\n\nABOUT NYTW\nOver four decades\, NYTW has become recognized as one of the leading producing theatres of original work in the United States. Its mission includes annual productions in its theatre in the East Village and participating with theatre-makers in activities that allow them to gain support for their work. NYTW’s productions have received a Pulitzer Prize and 17 Tony Awards\, as well as Obies\, Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Awards. www.nytw.org\n\nWHO IS ON THE PANEL?\nJim Nicola\, Artistic Director; Linda Chapman\, Associate Artistic Director and active LPTW member; Rachel Silverman\, Artistic Producing Associate; Aaron Malkin\, Literary Director and Dramaturge; Taylor Williams\, Casting Director. LPTW Board Member and theater podcaster Malini Singh McDonald will facilitate.\n\nSAMPLE QUESTIONS\nHow do people introduce their work to NYTW? What if I am interested in a staff job? How do we best connect with people at NYTW? What type of theatrical work is of most interest?\nRegistration is first-come\, first-served.\n\nOnly fifty members could participate and all participants were required to RSVP. Registrants were asked to complete a short survey to help focus the discussion.\n\nThe sign-up form was shared after the Annual Meeting.\n\nTheatre Connections has been developed by Cindy Cooper\, Coordinator\, and Ludovica Villar-Hauser and Yana Landowne\, Co-Chairs of Programming. The first Theatre Connections was at The Public Theater in January 2018. \n\nQuestions?
