DESCRIPTION:Reproductive Freedom Is What We Want … soars in a tapestry of 14 powerful ‘shorts.’ These are stories from the heart: humorous and tender; poignant and riveting. Theater\, spoken word\, comedy\, poetry and oral history. “Smart\, funny\, endangered.” Award-Winning Theater: new pieces up-to-the moment\, and selections from our rep. We've traveled to 20 states and now a performance for New York City. Featuring Alinca Hamilton\, Donna Jean Fogel and Carl H. Jaynes\, in an dynamic ensemble performance directed by Francesca Mantani Arkus\, created by Cindy Cooper. Celebrate reproductive freedom through the powerful words of a dozen artists\, and find out what action you can take before it's too late. The 64-minute performance is followed by a discussion with Farah Diaz-Tello\, a leading reproductive justice lawyer now with the organization 'If\, When\, How\,' guiding law students to support reproductive freedom\, rights\, health and justice. Take out one afternoon to support our rights\, and arts that matter! All proceeds go to support reproductive health services.
