Written circa 1800\, The Woman Hater has been characterized as "the missing link between Sheridan and Wilde"\, and shares its title with the 1607 play by Francis Beaumont and John Fletcher\, which also lampoons misogyny.\n\nAdmission by donation ($10 suggested).\n\n*The Play in Context\, the dramaturgical and scholarly component that begins the evening\, is sponsored in part by the LPTW.
